Dangkor Hospital HCVI has partnered with Dangkor Referral Hospital which is located on the outskirts of Phnom Penh. HCVI has installed fiberoptic broadband internet throughout the hospital and has provided computers and printers with internet access in each department. HCVI covers the cost of internet subscription as well.


The hospital is linked to the HCVI Medical Library located at the National Pediatric Hospital in Phnom Penh, where staff receive medical education as well as Google/IT training. Through the Library, staff gain access to the WHO's online medical library HINARI. This is an invaluable resource. This is one of many examples of how HCVI is leveraging technology to improve healthcare.


HCVI envisions an expanded role in the future with a greater degree of direct patient care, in addition to ongoing education.
