Other Projects HCVI firmly believes in the power and benefits of collaboration. We have brought cost prohibitive surgical drills and saws to other hospitals, greatly enhancing their surgical capabilities. Generally, in these situations we are replacing nonsterilizable construction grade tools substituting as surgical equipment, so one can imagine what a major upgrade this is. We work with other NGO organizations and hospitals and share in the responsibility and cost of providing care to those in need when limitations might have existed for one organization operating alone. We even conduct a lunchtime English language class at the HCVI Medical Library, located at the National Pediatric Hospital in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
